  6. NOTE: These directions are based on the assumption that you are using Communications
  7. Executive 1.2 (COMMEXE.NLM 1.02).  If you are using Communications Executive 1.3 see
  8. TD.S.NACS09.

  10. Every time you:
  11.   - change the addresses/switch settings on a NACS multiport communications adapter, or 
  12.   - add, or remove, another communications adapter 
  13. you must "reset".
  14.  
  15. The reset instructions in the "Guide" are not accurate.
  16. The correct instructions to reset are:
  17. 1. Make certain no one is currently using the NACS.
  18.  
  19. 2. Exit the NACS console.
  20.  
  21. 3. At the CS prompt 
  22.      - CSUNLOAD NACS
  23.      - CSDOWN
  24.  
  25. 4. At the NetWare 3.11 console 
  26.      - UNLOAD COMMEXEC
  27.      - UNLOAD the AIO driver (WNIM, Digi, Newport, etc)
  28.  
  29. 5. Copy NACSPORT.CFG from the original product diskette. 
  30.  
  31. 6. LOAD the AIO driver(s)
  32.  
  33. 7. LOAD COMMEXEC
  34.  
  35. 8. CSLOAD NACS
